Omega Structures were engaged by the Hutchies Sunshine Coast Team and the Sunshine Coast Council to transform the existing three-storey Caloundra Council Chamber – originally built in 1996 – into a vibrant new community hub. The refurbishment repurposed the building to house the modern Caloundra public library on the ground and first floors, with council offices occupying the second level. By repurposing an existing building, the project reflects Council’s commitment to sustainability and smart urban renewal, achieving a 6 Star Green Star rating.
